College Round-up: Husky Women take overtime win on Perez goal

SEATTLE - Junior Veronica Perez followed up a rebound off her own penalty kick and found the back of the net just 52 seconds into overtime, giving the Washington women's soccer team a 2-1 victory over Arizona State Friday at Husky Soccer Field.

The victory extends UW's unbeaten streak to five games and gives them a 13-5-1 overall record and a 4-3-1 mark in Pac-10 heading into the final regular-season game of the season Sunday. Arizona State falls to 8-7-4 overall and 2-5-1 in conference. Read the entire match report here.

The Washington Men fell 4-2 Friday night at Stanford.

The Seattle University Men won a 3-2 thriller on the road at Cal State Bakersfield. Andrew Kreiter scored his fourth goal of the year with a minute left in overtime to give the Redhawks the victory.
