Sounders roster cuts see Jackson and O'brien out

The longtime captain of the USL Sounders, Danny Jackson, and longtime midfielder and free kick specialist Leighton O'brien are among the latest cuts to the Sounders FC Major League Soccer roster.

Cut today: GK Kevin Guppy, D Danny Jackson, M Quavas Kirk, M Leighton O'Brien, M Ryan Pore, M Fernando Screpis and D Adam West.

Danny and Leighton were both with the Sounders when they won United Soccer League championships in 2005 and 2007. Best wishes to these two and thank you to all the previous Sounders players who have given us so much to be proud of over the years.
