1975: It was the beginning of the 'Disco era' and the second season for the North American Soccer League (NASL) Seattle Sounders. The sophomore season for Seattle included the highlights of making the playoffs for the first time and adding more seats to Memorial Stadium to pack the place with over 17,000 fans. Seattle finished 15-7 in 1975 and were led in the scoring column by the 10 goals of British striker John Rowlands.
